About the Journal


Recorder is a popular science journal focused on the history of the Masonic movement in the United States (York Rite), with particular attention given to the Masonic Order of Knights Templar.

The journal is published quarterly (March, June, September, and December) in both print and electronic formats.

The journal is published through the joint efforts of the East European Historical Society and Cherkas Global University.


Our Mission


Our mission is to promote the history of the Masonic movement in the United States (York Rite), and in particular the Masonic Order of Knights Templar, through the publication of scholarly and popular science materials relevant to the journal’s themes.
